old and new
Breda's historic centre is a protected townscape, with listed buildings and strict rules. Around it are neighbourhoods with very different houses. In Ginneken and Princenhage, once separate villages, you find villas and detached houses on generous plots. Belcrum and Boeimeer have streets of 1920s and 1930s houses with character and old installations.
North of the river Mark, the Haagse Beemden was built from the 1970s and 1980s, with many family homes that are now due for new kitchens, bathrooms and insulation. On the edges, Teteringen, Bavel and Nieuw Wolfslaar are newer and greener, where families add space rather than renovate.
Breda is about 30 minutes from our base in Waalwijk. We take on one large project at a time, so your renovation gets our full attention.
